Breast Reconstruction: Immediate Tissue Expander Placement with Second Stage Silicone Gel Implant

This patient is a 57 year old woman who presented for reconstruction at the time of mastectomy. She elected to pursue immediate tissue expander placement, placed at the time of mastectomy. Following her course of tissue expansion, she underwent a second stage procedure with removal of the expander and placement of a moderate profile silicone gel breast implant. She subsequently underwent nipple areolar reconstruction.
