Breast Reconstruction: Immediate Tissue Expander Placement with Secondary Shaped Cohesive Gummy Bear Gel

This patient is a 38 year old woman who underwent right mastectomy for a diagnosis of breast cancer. She underwent immediate tissue expander placement with alloderm at the time of mastectomy. She subsequently underwent permanent shaped highly cohesive “gummy bear” gel implant placement on the involved right side, with a lift and implant placed on the other side for symmetry. She has been very pleased with her results.
