This patient is a 40 year-old woman who requested replacement of her silicone gel breast implants because of their appearance and severe firmness. Following a discussion of treatment options, she elected to have her existing subglandular and severely firm silicone gel breast implants replaced with 325 cc high profile silicone gel breast implants, placed in a partial submuscular tissue pocket. She has been pleased with her results.
