This patient is a 50 year old woman who had undergone previous breast augmentation with lift, did well for many years, and had a complex revision. She had issues with implant firmness over time, and was concerned that her implants might be the source of some medical issues. She was receptive to the idea of having her implants removed, understanding that her medical concerns may not improve after the procedure. Following discussion of treatment options, she elected to pursue a procedure to have her breast implants removed and have a revision breast lift approach that would attempt to provide optimal shape with the breast tissue present. She has felt better after removal of her breast implants and been very pleased with her outcome to date.
