Transaxillary Breast Augmentation with High Profile Smooth Round Cohesive Gel Implants

This patient is a 32 year old woman who presented for breast augmentation. Following a thorough evaluation and discussion of treatment options, she elected to pursue placement of 350 cc high profile smooth round silicone gel implants placed behind the pectoralis major muscle using a transaxillary incision (in the top of the armpit). An endoscope was used to allow for precise tissue pocket creation which allows for optimal technical control using an armpit incision. This approach allowed for her implants to be placed with no incisions on her breasts.
