Transaxillary Breast Augmentation with High Profile Smooth Round Cohesive Gel Implants

This patient is a 50 year old woman who presented for breast augmentation. She was found to have significant breast and ribcage asymmetry. Following a thorough evaluation and discussion of treatment options, she elected to undergo placement of a 375 cc high profile silicone gel implant on the right, and 300 cc moderate plus profile silicone gel implant on the left. Both implants were placed beneath the pectoral muscle using short armpit incisions, thus allowing for device placement with no incisions on the breasts.
