Transaxillary Breast Augmentation with High Profile Smooth Round Cohesive Gel Implants

This patient is a 43 year old woman who presented for breast enhancement. She requested a two cup size increase in size if possible. She preferred to avoid incisions on her breasts. Following a discussion of treatment options, she elected to pursue placement of 350 cc high profile smooth wall silicone gel implants, beneath the pectoral muscle, using an armpit incision. Her implants were placed using a transaxillary (armpit incision) endoscopic approach, with 5 cm incisions in the armpit on each side, thus avoiding incisions on her breasts.
