This patient is a 61 year old woman who had undergone previous breast augmentation procedures, most recently with large implants by request, who requested a revision procedure to attempt to address pain on her chest wall, and have a smaller breast size with improved shape. Following discussion of treatment options, she elected to pursue a procedure to have her breast implants removed and have a breast lift to attempt to optimize her breast shape with the small amount of breast tissue present. An internal scaffold material was placed into the implant pocket and to produce an “internal bra” effect, to attempt to help provide optimal shape. She has been very pleased with her outcome to date.
