About Doctor Strock

Dr. Strock is a native Texan, originally from Austin. He is a graduate of Amherst College and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed residencies is Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he later served as Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery. While serving on the faculty at UTMB, Dr. Strock focused his efforts on cosmetic surgery of the breast and face and reconstructive breast surgery. Dr. Strock began to use endoscopic techniques at UTMB in 1996 for the placement of breast implants through the armpit, rejuvenation of the upper face and brow, and mobilization of muscle flaps used for reconstructive surgery in patients with breast cancer. He began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1996 and continues to use minimal incision techniques routinely in the placement of breast implants, rejuvenation of the upper face and eyelid areas, and breast lift.

Dr. Strock is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Texas Surgical Society, Fort Worth Society of Plastic Surgeons, Blocker-Lewis Plastic Surgical Society, Fort Worth Surgical Society, Texas Medical Association, and the Tarrant County Medical Society. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has received the Certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery awarded by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He serves on the Governing Board of the American Cancer Society (Tarrant County Chapter) and serves as a volunteer for University Little League. Dr. Strock has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and local television progams. He has presented his work on multiple occassions at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons national meeting.

Dr. Strock is on the Active Staff at Harris Methodist Hospital, Plaza Medical Center, Fort Worth Surgery Center, and Clear Fork Surgery Center. He maintains courtesy privileges at Cook Children's Medical Center and Baylor All Saints Hospital.
