Silicone Gel Breast Augmentation - Case 6
Transaxillary Endoscopic Breast Augmentation
This patient is a 29 year old woman who presented for breast augmentation. She requested
as natural a result as possible, with soft upper pole contour and the soft feel
of silicone gel. She also preferred to avoid incisions on her breasts, if possible.
Following a thorough evaluation and discussion of treatment options, she elected
to pursue placement of 350 cc high profile silicone gel breast implants, placed
beneath the pectoral muscle, using a transaxillary (armpit) incision. The transaxillary
endoscopic approach allowed for her silicone gel breast implants to be placed with
no incisions on her breasts.
