Transaxillary Endoscopic Breast Augmentation
This patient is a 36 year old woman who presented for breast augmentation. Following
a discussion of all treatment options, she elected to have 375cc high profile silicone
gel implants placed above the muscle, beneath the breast using a transaxillary (armpit
incision) incision. She requested this approach to allow for the most natural behaving
implant placement, avoiding muscle distortion with activity, that can be seen with
implants placed beneath the pectoral muscle. The incision choice allowed for her
implants to be placed with no incisions on her breasts.
